SUMMARY

RFI for 750 licenses of courtroom presentation software for federal defender offices and CJA panel attorneys.

DESCRIPTION

The Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AOUSC) is seeking information from qualified vendors regarding courtroom presentation software for federal defender offices and Criminal Justice Act (CJA) panel attorneys. The Defender Services Office plans to acquire 750 licenses of a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) on-premises solution to facilitate the organization and presentation of case materials during federal criminal trials and hearings.

The desired software should allow users to import, organize, and display a wide range of documents and multimedia files, with capability for on-the-fly enlargements, highlights, and annotations. Support for displaying multiple items simultaneously is required, and the system must operate without internet connectivity to accommodate courtrooms lacking access. Compatibility with various file types, languages, and volumes is essential, mirroring the presentation tools available to Department of Justice attorneys.

This RFI is issued for market research and planning purposes. Interested parties are encouraged to provide feedback on the requirements and capabilities as outlined in the draft Statement of Work.
