The State of Iowa is seeking a vendor to provide antilock braking system (ABS) software designed for comprehensive diagnosis, analysis, and reporting across a range of commercial vehicle ABS platforms. The software must support major ABS systems, including those manufactured by Bendix, WABCO, Haldex, Meritor, Knorr–Bremse, and others as required by state agencies.
Key functional requirements include the ability to read and interpret ABS fault codes (DTCs), access live sensor data, retrieve event logs and freeze frame data, and perform bi-directional controls such as valve actuation and modulator testing. The software should also provide detailed wiring diagrams, facilitate component-level diagnostics including wheel speed sensors and electronic control units (ECUs), and offer tools for graphing and trending sensor signals and waveform data.
The solution must support a range of communication protocols, including J1939, J1708/J1587, OBD, CAN, and additional proprietary protocols as needed. The contract term for this engagement is one year.
