DESCRIPTION
The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to award a sole source purchase order to M + P International Inc., based in Warwick, Rhode Island, for comprehensive software maintenance, support, and hardware calibration services. The scope of work includes on-site calibration of VibRunners, software updates to VibControl and multiple mpA software dongles, update of the VibCo Acoustic Control Software Dongle, and provision of technical troubleshooting and user support for one year following the execution of the purchase order.
This procurement falls under North American Industry Classification System Code 541519 with a small business size standard. The acquisition will be executed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106–1(b) for purchases not exceeding $250,000 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Responses from interested parties must clearly demonstrate their capability to fulfill these requirements; however, the government retains the discretion to proceed with a sole source contract based on its determination.
