DESCRIPTION
The selected firm will provide annual financial and compliance audit services for a government authority in Flint, Michigan. The Auditor will produce a written audit report, including an expression of opinion regarding whether the financial statements are fairly presented. If the opinion is qualified, or if an opinion cannot be expressed, the Auditor must clearly explain any unusual items or circumstances that prevented a definitive conclusion.
The report must confirm adherence to generally accepted government auditing standards. Local centres boards will retain the rights to sign engagement letters and act as the responsible party throughout the engagement. The contract period for these services will be two years. Prospective bidders must submit any questions regarding the RFP by April 1, 2026.
