DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Nova Scotia is seeking a vendor to provide annual audit services for fiscal years ending March 31 from 2026 through 2030. The selected auditor will review audit plans, present results to the Municipal Audit Committee, and undertake the annual audit and preparation of non-consolidated statements for the Water Utility.

The auditor is also responsible for annual compilation of non-consolidated statement preparation for all municipal funds (excluding Water Utility), annual agency Fire Department statement compilation, and annual preparation of the Financial Indicator Report. The contract is intended for a one-year term, with all questions regarding the RFP due by May 22, 2026.
