DESCRIPTION

The Town of Leland, North Carolina, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide annual audit services. Responsibilities include conducting the annual audit, with the possibility of a Single Audit if federal funds are received during the fiscal year 2025–2026. Town staff will handle standard year-end accruals and various adjusting journal entries, while the chosen audit firm will be responsible for the preparation, typing, proofing, printing, and copying of all basic financial statements, supplementary information, and compliance reports. The Finance Director will assist the audit firm as needed in the preparation process.

The Town is committed to establishing a relationship with the selected auditor for at least three years, starting with the audit for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted no later than April 13, 2026.
