A maritime-focused organization is seeking a qualified vendor to develop an analytical and impact framework for measuring and benchmarking pollutant emissions from maritime ports. The primary objective is to create a robust tool and framework that will enable consistent measurement, benchmarking, and interpretation of emissions data, while also linking these emissions to the broader environmental, social, and economic impacts of port decarbonization.
The project scope includes mapping existing tools, standards, and data sources relevant to ports to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement and harmonization. The vendor will analyze how emissions and impact data are currently utilized in investment and policy decision-making related to port infrastructure. Additionally, the framework must be designed to support scenario-based analysis of various decarbonization measures.
The selected vendor will also be responsible for developing comprehensive guidance on data requirements, collection protocols, and verification methods, as well as mapping the framework's alignment with leading global standards for sustainable infrastructure and finance. This initiative aims to accelerate the deployment of innovative finance solutions for sustainable port operations and infrastructure.
