A government authority in Tennessee is seeking a qualified vendor to provide ambulance billing software, electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) field data reporting, and comprehensive support services. The vendor will be responsible for supplying both hardware and software necessary for the county's ePCR system, enabling efficient field collection of incident data, patient demographics, health and treatment details, and other information required for compliant reimbursement and reporting.
The preferred solution should be web-enabled, eliminating the need for additional hardware investment for access to billing and collection functions. The selected vendor will be required to detail the proposed system's operating system, hardware, configuration, and software components. Maintaining the security and confidentiality of documents and patient information in accordance with HIPAA requirements is essential, ensuring that records are available for inspection and audit.
The solution must include web-based reporting features to support management of billing, collections, and crew documentation. Additionally, the vendor will provide training to county personnel on the billing technology and procedures. The contract is set for a four-year period.
