DESCRIPTION


The county is seeking a professional contractor to provide ambulance billing and collection services for emergency medical and ambulance transport services delivered through its Office of Emergency Management emergency medical services program. The contractor will identify, pursue, and attempt to collect applicable insurance coverage and related fees for provided services.

The selected vendor will also provide mutual-aid basic life support responses to municipalities and support the county’s billing and collection operations for emergency medical services. The county’s deployment includes multiple ambulances staffed and in service 24 hours a day, seven days per week.

The contractor must be able to interface with the agency’s electronic patient care reporting software. The county currently uses the EMS Charts Patient Care Reporting System. Questions must be submitted no later than August 24, 2026.
