SUMMARY

Procurement of ARMS software package and user seats for U.S. Pacific Fleet Air and Missile Defense Commander.

DESCRIPTION

The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (NAVSUP FLCSD) is seeking to procure the Amalgamated Remote Management System (ARMS) Master Control initial software package and fourteen additional user seats for the Commander, Naval Surface Forces U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNSP) Air and Missile Defense Commander (AMDC).

ARMS enables advanced management of tactical data link networks, such as those required by the Link 16 Network Manager, facilitating planning, management, modification, and troubleshooting over a wide geographical area. Unlike traditional systems offering a single viewpoint, ARMS provides a distributed, multi-viewpoint approach to network management. The software connects via an IP-based Wide Area Network (WAN) to multiple remote terminals, including JTIDS, MIDS-LVT, MIDS JTRS, STT, and BATS, collecting tactical data from each location and building a comprehensive multi-terminal database for discrepancy and anomaly analysis.

This procurement is aimed at supporting the mission of the AMDC and its primary alternates in conducting sustained and integrated air and missile defense operations for Carrier Strike Group One. The selected solution will enhance the ability to detect issues such as unauthorized time slot reuse, strengthening communication and network security across a diverse operational environment.
