The selected vendor will provide ongoing consulting services to enhance the effectiveness of an airport Safety Management System (SMS). This includes guiding organizational safety performance through expert methodologies and practical solutions, leveraging safety data, trend analysis, and key performance indicators to inform leadership and shape long-term risk management strategies. The consultant will facilitate comprehensive hazard analyses, risk scoring, and mitigation planning using defensible and repeatable approaches.
Additional tasks involve supporting the development of the airport's new SMS software, Veoci, offering subject-matter expertise, designing workflows, and defining operational requirements. The scope of work includes assisting with regulatory responses, updates to SMS documentation and processes, and ensuring effective integration of SMS into airport policies and standards. The consultant will also recommend updates to contracting documents, foster shared understanding of SMS roles, and contribute to data sharing and reporting frameworks. The contract is set for a one-year term, with a Q&A period for prospective bidders ending on March 23, 2026.
