The government authority in Monroe, Florida is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive airport general consultant services. The scope of work includes planning, engineering, and architectural services, as well as the development of Capital Improvement Program (CIP) schedules and cost estimates. The consultant will coordinate with airline tenants, manage airspace and zoning matters related to developments outside the airport, and evaluate the financial and technical feasibility of proposed projects.
Responsibilities also involve determining functional and design parameters, conducting preliminary surveys and geotechnical investigations, preparing data, exhibits, cost estimates, and preliminary drawings. The consultant will provide expertise in airport financial management, planning, engineering, architectural, environmental, and aviation issues, and assist in the negotiation and selection of additional consultants. Duties also include identifying changes in relevant laws and regulations, supporting contract development for design services, managing and reviewing the work of design consultants, and coordinating meetings and conferences to resolve design matters.
Additional tasks include preparing engineering reports and recommendations, producing detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates, distributing contract documents, and managing environmental and construction permitting processes.
