A government authority in Fort Myers, Florida is seeking a qualified air development consultant service. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing, as needed, traffic and revenue forecasts for new air routes, including detailed analyses of projected passenger numbers, load factors, yield analysis, ancillary revenues, and route profitability potential. The consultant will review available market data to identify unserved and underserved commercial air routes and air cargo opportunities, and will prepare economic impact studies for current and proposed domestic and international air services.
Additionally, the scope includes conducting studies such as leakage and catchment area analysis, domestic and international second homeowner studies, and providing a detailed marketing strategy tailored to the region. Firms must demonstrate expertise in airport marketing, airline industry dynamics, and developing partnership strategies with airports and communities. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by April 30, 2026. The contract period will be for three years.
