DESCRIPTION
An Oregon university is seeking a vendor to provide an AI-powered, API-first on-site search platform designed to enable federated search and content curation across all of its web properties. The selected platform should be API-driven, allowing the university to build custom search interfaces while leveraging the proposer’s search engine and administrative tools.
Key features must include federated search functionality that aggregates information from multiple university sites, intelligent curation and ranking to prioritize authoritative content, and AI-generated answers that draw exclusively from university materials. The platform should support phased implementation, beginning with high-priority websites and expanding systematically to others. Additionally, university administrators must be provided with management tools to monitor, refine, and enhance search relevance and the overall user experience.
The proposed contract will span three years. A voluntary pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for November 26, 2025.
