DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Lethbridge, Alberta is seeking a vendor to provide reliable after-hours sewer services. The successful contractor will be responsible for supporting crews in sewer-related emergencies, ensuring rapid responses to protect public safety, minimizing property and infrastructure damage, and maintaining continuity of essential municipal services.
The contractor must be able to mobilize and arrive on-site within 60 minutes of any emergency service request. Services are required between 7:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. throughout the week, including possible full days on statutory holidays. Adequate staffing is required for uninterrupted after-hours support. The contractor will provide emergency sewer line clearing, backup investigations, root cause diagnostics, and video inspection support upon request. A video report showing the completed work, including distance and measurements, is required after each job. The contract will span three years.
