Utah is seeking a vendor to provide an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) system that is fully compatible with Caselle billing software. The selected solution must include technical support and seamless integration services to ensure successful deployment alongside the existing Caselle system. The AMI system should adhere to current industry standards and operate on Windows-compatible computers.
Vendors are expected to address the technology type, functional capabilities, system architecture, coverage reliability, equipment life cycle, and how the solution aligns with the state's long-term utility needs. The proposal must also outline the costs associated with the AMI infrastructure, such as towers, gateways, collectors, and any applicable cellular fees, as well as software licensing, hosting, and ongoing subscription fees.
Comprehensive support is required, including both on-site and remote responsiveness, 24/7 availability, and guaranteed response times. High-quality documentation, including detailed user guides, manuals, and troubleshooting resources, must also be provided.
