The government authority in Lake Buena Vista, Florida is seeking a vendor to implement and install an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system for its natural gas utility. The project includes supplying and deploying all components of the AMI system—meters, network, and data systems—with the objective of achieving a full AMI rollout across all utilities by the end of 2027.
Vendors are required to provide detailed technical specifications for the proposed meters, endpoints, and network, addressing aspects such as the useful operating life and battery life of endpoints, maintenance and testing requirements, and network equipment details. Additional requirements include supporting headend system operations, software configuration and firmware management, IT standards and cybersecurity measures, and system testing and acceptance processes. The project also calls for warranty provisions covering all equipment and network devices, with defined maintenance support. Installation support for both natural gas and water (potable, reclaimed, hot, and chilled) is required.
The selected provider must ensure that their solution meets all operational, security, and integration criteria and provides comprehensive support from installation through warranty and ongoing maintenance.
