The State of Texas is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive ADA digital accessibility compliance, consulting, and design solutions. The selected vendor will deliver end-to-end services to enhance the accessibility of both public-facing and internal digital assets, including websites, web applications, mobile applications, online portals, digital documents and forms, video and multimedia content, and third-party integrations.
Key responsibilities include conducting accessibility audits and testing, developing and executing remediation plans, and providing advisory services on compliance strategies. The vendor will lead stakeholder briefings, develop multi-phase accessibility roadmaps, and facilitate prioritization based on risk and impact. Additional services encompass verification and regression testing, periodic progress reviews, and coaching for internal accessibility teams.
The scope of work also includes advising on design and user experience for accessible templates and components, reviewing code and design systems, and facilitating working sessions with agency IT, product, and vendor teams. Vendors will support agencies in media accessibility, including captioning and content remediation, and participate in accessibility maturity assessments and gap analyses. The contract also covers advisory support for budget planning, staffing, and vendor management, as well as facilitating cross-functional committees and governance initiatives.
