A government authority in Overland Park, Kansas is seeking a vendor to provide active learning classroom remodel services for its main campus. The project involves the interior renovation of existing classrooms located in multiple buildings. Key activities include the demolition of existing finish flooring, ceiling systems, and interior gypsum on metal stud partition walls.
The new construction work will require the installation of carpet flooring, new ceiling grid, gypsum on metal stud partition walls, casework, and upgrades to electrical, data, and mechanical systems. The scope also allows for three alternates, which would expand the renovation work to three additional classrooms. The owner will supply certain products; the selected vendor will be responsible for receiving, unloading, handling, storing, protecting, installing these products, and making building services connections as needed.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for January 8, 2026. All questions related to the project must be submitted by January 15, 2026. The contract period for this renovation service will be one year.
