An educational institution in South Carolina is seeking a qualified vendor to provide, install, and support a Portable Active Floor Interactive Learning System and its associated software for use in classrooms, media centers, and physical education spaces. The scope of work includes the delivery and installation of Active Floor hardware, projection equipment, and motion-tracking sensors, along with the setup and configuration of a comprehensive software platform and content management tools.
The interactive system must utilize a projection-based floor with multi-touch motion sensing capabilities, covering a minimum active area of 8 ft by 10 ft with adjustable projection coverage. The solution should include a high-lumen short-throw projector suitable for environments with ambient lighting, as well as integrated motion tracking sensors (infrared or camera-based) that support simultaneous multi-user interaction. The accompanying software suite must provide access to educational games, physical activities, customizable lesson creation tools, and offer both cloud-based and locally hosted options with robust administrative controls.
Additional requirements include network connectivity for secure integration with district Wi-Fi systems and content filtering, a durable non-slip floor surface suitable for educational and gym settings, and a minimum one-year manufacturer's warranty on all system components.
