A higher education institution in South Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide an academic scheduling and event management software solution. The selected solution must include vendor-provided software, professional services for setup and support, and ongoing technical support to ensure continuous system functionality and reliability. The software should accommodate institutional scheduling policies, academic calendars, and governance structures, while also supporting non-academic scheduling such as single events, recurring events, and bulk event creation with configurable approvals, notifications, and calendar invitations.

The solution must validate data accuracy and workflow logic prior to implementation and for ongoing change management. It should feature robust reporting to support scheduling, facilities utilization, event management, and fiscal tracking. The system must be capable of identifying conflicts and inefficiencies in scheduling and offer actionable guidance to optimize resource usage. An accessible, modern, and intuitive user interface is required, along with integration capabilities for merchant payment solutions. The system should accurately schedule rooms and be scalable to support enrollment growth, expanded programs, and additional facilities and events. The initial contract is anticipated to last five years.
