DESCRIPTION

The State of Georgia is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive 511 Advanced Traveler Information System (ATIS). The chosen vendor will be responsible for system hosting, maintenance, performance monitoring, data integration, and user support across all traveler information channels. The 511 ATIS must deliver real-time traffic, roadway, and travel information to users statewide through a responsive web portal, native mobile applications for iOS and Android, and an interactive voice response (IVR) telephone system with English and Spanish language support.

The system will leverage GIS data sources to render geographically accurate maps and incorporate GIS-based data layers such as county boundaries, mile markers, rest areas, ports of entry, and evacuation routes. Users must have the ability to display, query, sort, and filter 511 data on a GIS-based map. Exporting data to CSV and PDF formats, data validation from external systems, and the retention of current and historical traveler information are essential system requirements. The ATIS must also synchronize data across all public interfaces, support hands-free voice interactions, update ATMS and video data in near real-time, and offer secure cloud-based user authentication. Development, testing, and production instances should be maintained with appropriate access controls.

The contract period will be for one year, and all questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by April 2, 2026.
