SUMMARY

Seeking vendor to develop, design, and produce a 50th anniversary commemorative magazine for First Nations–led post-secondary education in Saskatchewan.

DESCRIPTION

A vendor is sought to lead the development, design, and production of a 50th anniversary commemorative magazine celebrating five decades (1976–2026) of First Nations–led post-secondary education in Saskatchewan. This magazine will serve as a lasting legacy publication, highlighting the institution’s history, leadership, notable alumni, community impact, and vision for the future.

The selected vendor will provide comprehensive project leadership and management from initial concept through to print-ready delivery. Responsibilities include editorial planning, crafting the publication concept and creative direction, proposing an editorial framework, content development through interviews, and ensuring professional copyediting and quality assurance. The vendor will collaborate with the agency regarding honoraria for elders, knowledge keepers, or cultural contributors, which will be managed directly in accordance with institutional policy.

Design work encompasses developing visual concepts in line with the agency’s brand and 50th anniversary identity, presenting two initial design options, and executing full layout, formatting, and integration of photography, archival images, and graphics. The selected vendor will prepare files for print, provide a web-optimized digital version, and incorporate revisions during structured review phases.
