The VA Montana Healthcare System seeks a qualified General Contracting company to upgrade the Nurse Call system infrastructure on the 4th floor of the Fort Harrison VA Medical Center, located at 3687 Veterans Drive, Fort Harrison, Montana. The project entails integrating new-generation Rauland Ametek components with the existing nurse call system and collaborating with EVCO Integrated Solutions, the authorized Rauland Ametek dealer/installer in the region.
Scope of work includes furnishing and installing signal/control raceways, backboxes, wiring, and a series of Rauland Responder 5 Waterproof Pull Cord Stations within patient restroom areas. Additionally, the contractor will supply and upgrade equipment for patient rooms transitioning from Responder 4 to Responder 5 systems, with specified device components such as corridor lights, patient stations, pillow speakers, bed receptacles, staff assist/code stations, custom buttons, and more.
The selected contractor is responsible for repairing or replacing any damage to facility interiors, matching existing finishes, debris removal, and following ICRA provisions and all VA/US EPA/Montana DEQ regulatory requirements. Proper site investigation, field verification of conditions, and construction phasing coordination with the VA Construction Officer Representative and clinical staff are required to minimize patient care disruption. Contractors must submit proposed finishes and required pre-construction documents before proceeding, and debris disposal must be properly documented and reported.
