A government authority in Colorado is seeking a qualified vendor to provide advisory services for its deferred compensation 457(b) plan and post-employment health reimbursement account (VEBA trust) plan. The selected firm will attend in-person, bi-monthly investment meetings—estimated at four meetings per year—providing comprehensive reviews and prudent recommendations to maximize plan performance.
Responsibilities include conducting annual comprehensive plan reviews, advising the 457(b) Committee and HRA Board on their contractual agreements with vendors, performing investment diligence and reporting, as well as assisting with the selection, monitoring, and negotiation of investment options and provider fee structures. The firm will also help refine and monitor Investment Policy Statements (IPS), oversee employee education strategies, and provide ongoing oversight of plan services, compliance, and reporting. The contract period is for one year.
