DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Colorado is seeking a qualified vendor to provide advisory services for its county's 401(a) contributory retirement plan. The selected firm will deliver advisory services at the 3(21) level, including attending investment meetings, comprehensive plan reviews, and providing recommendations. Annual comprehensive plan reviews will encompass evaluations of plan documents and fee structures. The advisor will counsel the 401(a) Retirement Board on agreements with the plan recordkeeper and perform due diligence in investment review and reporting.

Responsibilities also include assisting with the selection and ongoing monitoring of investment options within the plan menu, negotiating fee structures with plan platform providers, and refining and monitoring Investment Policy Statements (IPS). Additionally, the vendor will advise on, implement, and monitor employee education strategies, oversee plan services to participants, ensure plan compliance and reporting, and conduct annual fiduciary training for the Retirement Board. The contract is structured for a one-year term.
